PADI ADVANCED DIVING COURSE
The PADI advanced course is the next step and is the ideal level for you if you don’t wish to become a PADI professional. Plus, the Advanced Open Water Diver course takes you one step closer to Master Scuba Diver – the ultimate non professional certification in recreational diving.
The Advanced course consists of five dives and the five relevant knowledge reviews. There is NO exam in the Advanced Course! Your Deep dive and your Navigation dive are compulsory, and then there are a few options you have for the remaining three dives.
We offer the following; AWARE-fish identification, Boat, Drift, Multilevel and computer diving, Night, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search & Recovery, Underwater Photography and Wreck Dives. Junior Advanced divers, once qualified, will be able to dive to 21m and those older than 15 years will be able to go down to 30m.
The wrecks off the Kwa-Zulu Natal coastline all sit between 22m and 32m, so to dive any of them it is necessary to be qualified as an Advanced diver. There are also a variety of ocean creatures, from sponges to African butterflyfish to the Longnose hawkfish that only live on the deeper reefs.
